Quick Update Time!

Hello! It's me...

Quick update time again! So this week is my birthday week, the big 2-1. I have a pretty mad week planned with lots going on. Later today I will be posting a new album review of a certain lady I adore and referenced at the very beginning of this post. I will also be posting a playlist on Wednesday (my B-day) of some of my favourite party tracks and songs that have to be played when you turn 21. Tomas and I will also be doing a special Birthday Breakfast Show on Nerve Radio, which I'm very excited (and nervous) about. But it will certainly be fun. So tune in to that from 9am - 10am on Wednesday morning!

However I got an email this morning that has made my birthday week even more special. I have been awarded the Bournemouth University Music Scholarship! I have loads of ideas on how I want to spend the money to help fund my love of music, some of the money will go towards starting singing lessons again and I want to buy myself a keyboard to practice and try and improve my poor piano playing.

So big exciting things to come! I can't wait to share it all with you guys!

Nerve Radio!

So some very exciting news for you. I now host a breakfast show every other Monday and Wednesday, at 9am to 10 am, on Bournemouth Uni's student radio, Nerve!

I host it with my friend Tomas, who has a lot more experience than me, so he is teaching me the ropes.
So with that in mind, I thought I would make todays Track of the Day my favourite song on the radio, which happens to be Levels, by Nick Jonas

My next show is on Wednesday 11th, 9am-10am!

Another quick update!

Hello!

So last time I did a quick update, I mentioned I was going to university. Well now I'm here! I moved in just over two weeks ago and I'm having a blast! However I'm still settling in and getting things sorted, so please bare with me while I finish balancing everything out. 

I do have a quick, little announcement to make, I now have my own Spotify account! So you guys will soon be able to access playlist on there and follow them. I should mention though, it is my personal Spotify account. So keep that in mind when you see that I mostly listen to Gabrielle Aplin's and Disclosure's new albums at the moment.

Back to the blog. So the next post will be by the wonderful Alfie Lawrance and I'm very excited to share it with you! Once I get sorted I'm going to start doing some shorter posts to keep you up to date, as well as in the know. I would really like to hear what you want from the blog as well. Quick (EXCITING) update!

Hello! 

So after having a busy couple of weeks, I'm finally back...Although only for today. I'm off to Green Man Festival tomorrow, but will be posting again once I'm back. I'm going to be very busy over the next month, so posts will be a bit all over the place I'm afraid. However to help combat this and because he is awesome, I have some very exciting news...

I have now recruited one of my lovely friends Alfie Lawrance, who will also be blogging for What's The Set List. Woo! He has some brilliant ideas and a fabulous taste in music. I can't wait to be sharing his post with you guys. The first one coming later today! 

As some of you may have noticed, I have been blogging with the lovely blogger Joey Tamburello recently. Her film blog Let's Start With This One also has a Youtube channel (Here's the link to her Youtube). A couple of weeks ago we decided to do a vlog for her channel. Unfortunately it's in the editing stages at the moment, as we have had some problems with moving the video around. However once it is up, you will be the first to know and I will post a link on the blog. The plan is that What's The Set List will also start vlogging soon! But once I have some more free time and a decent camera.

So if I can get internet at Green Man, I will post my latest Festival Friday for you guys. My review of Wilderness 2015 is in the spell check stage and should be up later today. I'm also off to the theatre this evening to see my favourite musical/ film/ show, High Society, so be expecting a post on that in the not so distant future.
